Midland Air Service Experts was excited to volunteer with the Midlands Ride for Kids last month. This marks the second year that Midland Air has volunteered for this remarkable event that benefits the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the leading nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The proceeds fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial aid for families.
Midland Air Service Experts donated $1000 to this amazing cause and the nationwide event has gathered over $500,000. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been involved in the event since 2014 and her dad’s motorcycle group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids every year.
“My dad’s motorcycle club rides every year because they can have fun and ride motorcycles, all for a great cause.” Check out Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The big-hearted motorcycle club may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it for the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air looks forward to being involved in their community and helping with wonderful events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To read more about how you can get involved and support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, check out their site.
